A few weeks ago, several AI-generated videos flooded social media depicting fake journalists from RFI, and even from a non-existent channel called Live24, fabricating a military coup in France. These deepfakes were so convincing that Emmanuel Macron publicly voiced his outrage.
Prominent TV figures, such as Élise Lucet, are among the prime targets of video manipulations and other AI-based fabrications, which have skyrocketed since the launch of OpenAI’s Sora image generator and Elon Musk’s chatbot, Grok.
